Hi, I’m John Faherty, the eye and mind behind CJ Lightcraft—a photography studio built around light, craft, and storytelling.

Rooted in Western New York, my work spans fine art landscapes, street photography, and honest documentation of spaces and people. Whether I’m chasing late-afternoon shadows in the city or capturing the essence of a home, I bring a careful, creative approach to every frame.

I created CJ Lightcraft to share meaningful visual stories—whether that’s a piece of wall art that brings atmosphere into your space or clean, compelling images that help sell a property. With a background in both artistic photography and client-focused work, I balance vision with reliability, and creativity with clarity.
